Barbara D’Agapiti – Founder & Director
Passionate. Creative. Caring. Barbara is the founder and director of Wine Link Italy and Vino & Ville. Born near Rome, she moved to Umbria in 2001 where she graduated in Economics and Management of Travel Services. She is a certified sommelier, olive oil taster and an active member of Slow Food. In addition, she writes for the Slow Wine Guide. In May 2014 she has been certified Level 2 WSET. Her job is to share her passion and knowledge about Italy and its people. Barbara spends most of her time exploring Italy for inspiration and loves to design unique travel experiences for visitors interested in the wine, food, the culture and the people of Italy.
Letizia Mattiacci – Customer Relations
Sociable. Dedicated. Insightful. Letizia lives in Assisi, one of the most fascinating medieval villages in Umbria. Former research biologist, she is a food writer and owns the well known Alla Madonna del Piatto Cooking School. Letizia has a genuine love for Umbria and a deep appreciation for the unique experiences that only the immersion in the local culture can provide. Letizia will be happy to listen to your wishes and budget requirements, then turning them into a truly memorable experience.
Chiara Bernardi – Vino & Ville
Determined. Organised. Pragmatic. Chiara loves travelling and everything which is truly “Made in Italy”. She was born in the beautiful town of Spoleto and after a Bachelor degree in Law she moved to London (UK) to work and study. While living abroad she discovered the widespread fascination with “Made in Italy” handicratfs and the Italian culture. She returned to Italy to attended courses in marketing and operations management. As a travel coordinator for the Vino & Ville project, Chiara’s mission is to introduce you to the region’s historic villas and castles, with their fascinating history and charming legends.
Laura Biancalana – Art and Architecture expert
Extroverted. Methodical. Creative. Laura has graduated in architecture in Florence in 2009. She is an interior designer with a special passion for architecture in its interaction with everyday life. She lives in Perugia and works with the Italian Institute of Design in Perugia where she teaches History of Architecture, History of Furniture, Anthropology of Living and Design. At Wine Link Italy she takes care of the Vino & Ville tours, offering an insight into the art and history of the region combined with its best products, from artisan crafts to food and wine.
